spring pops

Under the direction of Mrs. Jauss, we presented our “Rock Your Decade” Spring Pops concert last Thursday! The program began with “The Elementones” (first and second grade) taking a trip back to the 1950’s. They sang classics “Rockin’ Robin” and “Shake, Rattle, and Roll.” Next, “The Boogie Squad” (fifth grade) brought disco to the room with “Le Freak” and the Jackson 5 hit “Blame It on the Boogie.” “The Neon Synthesaints” (eighth grade) paid tribute to the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson with an instrumental medley. The “Rhythm Collective” (seventh grade) went back to the 2000’s with “Somebody That I Used to Know.” To close the show, the “Melody Rebels” (third and fourth grade) rocked the stage with current hits “Happy” by Pharrell and “Roar” by Katy Perry. Congratulations to all our singers and musicians for their hard work and dedicated practice to prepare for another fabulous concert. Bravo!
